Acupuncture &
Herbal Medicine

Chinese Medicine is a complete medical system that has been used for thousands of years to correct both metabolic and functional imbalances in the body. Acupuncture is performed using sterile, one-time use needles that are placed along specific meridian pathways to improve and reinforce  natural vitality and the ability to heal. Using gentle needling techniques in combination with essential oils and herbs, our acupuncturists can influence every system in your body—and minimize pain in as quickly as one session.

Herbal Supplements

As early as 2800 BC, herbalists began studying and combining herbs to find the best combinations to heal specific conditions. As with acupuncture, herbal remedies are designed to go beyond your original symptoms and improve your overall wellness. Herbalists consider each patient's constitution and symptoms to prescribe effectively. This personal approach enhances the benefits and minimizes side effects. Most conditions improve faster by combining herbal treatment with acupuncture. Sometimes they taste or smell a little weird, but they work!

Essential Oils

Using the Body Feedback system, our clinicians also sometimes use essential oils to help balance out the acupuncture meridians. These blends have been tested over the past decade for their effectiveness at having a therapeutic and lasting influence during treatment. Similar to the use of Chinese herbs, many of our patients find that using the oils at home is a subtle and pleasant way to extend the benefit of their acupuncture treatment.

Cupping is a treatment that uses heated glass cups to stimulate healing. The cups are placed along certain areas of the body, including tight muscles, or over areas on the upper back, creating a suction to the skin. Cupping is included in treatments as needed.
